1. WHAT INFORMATION WE COLLECT AND WHY

We need your email address to create a profile.

When you create a listing, you must also provide information and images to describe your service and your name, location, and contact details. You can also add other optional information, such as photos and videos. The more information you provide in your profile and listings, the greater the chance of a successful match. But remember, your listing will be available to anyone using Stintz, even if they don’t have a profile.  We will not share your exact address, but will use it to facilitate geographical area searches and matching.  We will not share your contact details, but will use it to send you notifications or contact you directly if necessary.

We will also keep any information provided in your in-app messages and on the dashboard private.

If you subscribe, we will receive information about payments from our payment services provider to enable your subscribed services and for our accounting purposes.

2. WHO WE SHARE YOUR INFORMATION WITH

Your public profile is available to all users, even those who don’t have a profile. Your name, the first letter of your surname and your neighbourhood will be published when you post a review.

We only share your information with our service providers if they agree to protect it. For instance, we use a third-party payment gateway to process subscription payments. They adhere to the PCI Data Security Standards.

Sometimes, we need to disclose your information to a third party if:

• we believe that disclosure is reasonably necessary to comply with applicable law, legal process or a government request
• to enforce our contracts and policies
• to protect the security and integrity of the marketplace
• to protect ourselves, our users and the public from illegal activity
• to respond to an emergency which we believe in good faith requires us to disclose information

Stintz.com is hosted on servers located Europe. Our hosting provider has agreed to secure our information in line with generally accepted information security practices and procedures.

3. YOUR RIGHTS AND PREFERENCES

You have the right to:

• ask what personal information we have about you;
• ask what information was sent to our suppliers, service providers and other third parties;
• ask us to update, correct or delete any out-of-date or incorrect information we have about you;
• unsubscribe from any direct marketing we may send you; and
• object to the processing of your personal information.

We will ask you to prove your identity before we process your request.
