This notice explains why we collect, store and use your information, what your rights are, and who we may share your information with. If you have any questions, contact us at support@stintz.com.
We need your email address to create a profile. When you create a listing or post a job, you also provide information describing your service or need, together with your name, suburb and contact details. You can add optional information such as photos, qualifications and experience — the more complete your profile, the greater the chance of a successful match. Listings and job posts are visible to anyone using Stintz.
We do not publish your exact address. We use your suburb and its coordinates to power area-based search and matching. We do not publish your contact details; we use them to send you notifications about your bookings, quotes and messages, or to contact you directly where necessary.
Messages sent through the app and information shown on your dashboard remain private between the parties involved. When you make or receive a payment, we receive transaction information from our payment provider so that we can release funds and keep accurate records.
Your public profile is visible to all users, including visitors without a profile. When you post a review, your first name, the first letter of your surname and your suburb are shown.
We only share information with service providers who agree to protect it — for example our payment gateway, which processes card payments in line with PCI Data Security Standards, and our email and hosting providers.
Sometimes we may need to disclose information to a third party if:
Our infrastructure is hosted with providers who have agreed to secure information in line with generally accepted information security practices.

We will ask you to prove your identity before we process a request. If you have questions or concerns about how we process your personal information, please contact us first at support@stintz.com.
