Acceptable Use Policy

    1. Purpose

    This Acceptable Use Policy outlines the rules and standards for using the Stintz platform. Stintz is a community-based marketplace that connects individuals and families with independent service providers offering services such as tutoring, babysitting, pet services, sports coaching, and similar local services.

    All users of the platform — including customers ("Seekers") and service providers ("Providers") — must comply with this policy.

    Violation of this policy may result in suspension or permanent removal from the platform.

    2. Permitted Services

    Providers may offer legitimate personal and household services including, but not limited to:

    • Tutoring and academic support
    • Babysitting and childcare assistance
    • Pet care services (pet sitting, dog walking, etc.)
    • Sports coaching and lessons
    • Cultural or creative lessons
    • Household assistance
    • Companion services
    • Administrative or personal assistance

    All services must comply with applicable South African laws.

    3. Prohibited Activities

    Users may NOT use Stintz for:

    Illegal Activities

    • Fraud or misrepresentation
    • Identity theft
    • Any activity that violates South African law

    Prohibited Services

    • Adult or sexual services
    • Escort services
    • Gambling or betting services
    • Financial or lending services
    • Cryptocurrency trading or solicitation
    • Sale of illegal drugs or controlled substances
    • Weapons or weapon-related services

    Platform Abuse

    • Attempting to bypass Stintz payments
    • Requesting payment outside the platform
    • Using bots or automated scripts
    • Interfering with platform security

    4. Provider Responsibilities

    Providers must:

    • Provide accurate profile information
    • Offer services they are qualified to perform
    • Deliver services as described in listings and quotes
    • Communicate professionally with customers

    Stintz may suspend or remove providers who violate platform rules.

    5. Monitoring and Enforcement

    Stintz may review listings and user activity and remove listings or suspend accounts that violate this policy.
